Private Workout was formed by a gym member who thought
normal gyms were not doing it right. He got certified as a personal trainer by the Cooper Institute in Dallas and founded
this as the ethical alternative to normal gyms. There are TEN major differences between Private Workout as ordinary
gyms:
1) We teach you how to workout: each customer is taught the workout and proper form for each exercise so you don't have to watch others in the gym
to see how do it. Your body does not naturally do things with good form does it? Most gyms do not teach you how
so it's not possible to get the best results and avoid injury.
2) We fit you to each machine: if you are not sure you have the right seat settings,
will you feel confident to raise the weights when it is time? Most gyms make you figure it out for yourself, be we will
custom fit each machine to you and we will write down your settings.
3) We tell you what to do: we have developed a workout plan over the last 13 years that gets results
faster than most personal trainers can achieve.# Most gyms offer no workout plan, so if you don't purchase personal training,
then you must make the plan. As with anything, there is a learning curve to workouts. We are 25,000 people down that
learning curve, training far more customers than any one personal trainers could have trained in a lifetime. All of
our personal trainers have contibuted to the over 50 changes we have made to this plan so we have a curriculum instead of
having each trainer make up their own plan.
4) We
tell you when to do it: We tell you how long to spend on each exercise, we tell you when to change
exercises, and best of all, we tell you when to change what you do for each exercise. Most gyms don't.
5) You can watch your form: Since
your body naturally likes to cheat on form, the best way to workout is with someone watching your form. At most gyms,
that someone is a personal trainer, at the cost of up to $75 per session. At our gym, that someone is you, at no cost
since we have put a mirror by most equipment so you can watch your form. Just how did you watch your form at your last
gym?
6) We recommend the amount of protein needed:
Do you know just how much protein is needed for exercise days or rest days? If you are not having
the right amount, your body will produce a hormone to convert muscle back to protein. This means most people LOSE muscle
from working out, which lowers your metabolism and leads to higher fat levels. Did your last gym tell you how much to have?

7) We will measure your body
fat content: only by measuring body fat can we compare to a chart to see what kind of shape we are
in. Many people that come to us thought they were in great shape, only to find out they were in the Poor category of
the Cooper Institute body fat norms chart. Only by measuring body fat and knowing the norms can we estimate the number of
workouts for you to get in shape. We will do that on your first visit.
8) We provide you with ergonomically correct equipment: most people who have not worked
out for a while get very sore for a few days after their first workout. Not at Private Workout since we have taken the
time to research the best equipment that does not challenge your joints. That soreness is not muscle pain, it is joint
pain because many pieces of equipment damage or irritate joints. Come try our joint-neutral equipment, which is the
same used by many professional atheletic teams.

We are here to help: while most gyms charge you to ask a person trainer questions, we do
not. Anytime we are free you can ask us for help, no charge.
10) Workout in private: Most people prefer not to dress up or wear makeup to workout,
nor answer questions from people they don't know, nor have others watching them workout. Most people like to get into
the "workout zone" and here they can since each exercise is done in a private room, with no other gym members to
hold you up, talk with you or judge your workout. Ever think you want to workout late at night since no one else is
there? Private Workout is like that all day too.
